Q. What's included in the free consultation?
(A.) Your free consultation is provided to explain the services we offer, and how your credit score is determined. This is also a great opportunity to ask questions. If you choose not to use our services after your free consultation you are not liable for any charges.
Q. How does credit repair actually work?
A. Credit Repair is the process of removing inaccurate, unfounded, out of date, false, and erroneous information from your credit report.
The 3 major credit bureaus collect information from lenders, creditors, and debt collectors and apply it to your credit report. Based on that information, your credit score is determined. This information could include the balances on loans or credit cards, credit inquiries, debt to income ratio, and most importantly, credit utilization (the percentage of debt you have to available credit).
Q. Can you remove anything from my credit report?
A. We can only fight to remove any items that fall under the guidelines of the FCRA (www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/031224fcra.pdf). These are items that should be removed due to being inaccurate, unfounded, out of date, false and/or erroneous.
Q. How long does it take to repair my credit?
A. While we try to remove inaccurate, unfounded, out of date, false, and erroneous information as quickly as possible, it’s impossible to give an exact timeline as each case is different. The more items we are fighting to remove, the longer it might take. The average timeline is roughly 6 months, though sometimes it may take a bit longer or even shorter timeframe.
Q, Can I repair my own credit?
A. You have the ability to dispute any information on your credit report you deem as inaccurate, unfounded, or incorrect. For this reason, we have created our DIY credit repair eBook “Credit Hacks” that is a step by step guide to repairing your credit. Many of our customers have purchased the eBook so they can maintain their credit and continue to increase their score long after our services are completed.
Q. Is my information secure?
A. Yes, we adhere to a very strict privacy policy that protects all of your valuable information. All client information is protected on a secure server and backed up routinely. Please review our privacy policy for further information.
Q. Am I locked into a contract?
A. Though you do sign a customer contract, they do not have mandatory service terms. We strictly provide a monthly service that you may cancel at anytime.
